New Beginnings

Every year at this time the media fill our heads with recaps of all the things they deemed important in the year just ending and we almost can’t help but join in. And somehow, reviewing the past, whether distant or near, always fills me with gratitude for what has already happened and hope for what is to come.
Our work here at SmileZone reminds us of new year’s hope. I think that’s because what we do is really about transition. We see an amazing amount of transition in our patients’ lives through their treatment. Some come to us as young children and leave us as young adults. Others come to us as adults who’ve “lived with their smile the way it was” their whole life, and leave as new people, filled with confidence. It’s a pretty awesome way to spend our time.
